When iubenda is the better choice

iubenda is strong when your website uses many third-party services and you need cookie consent, consent records and policies that are assembled from a library of service clauses. Its policies are added to your site through widgets, a script or an API. If that is what you need, it's a mature option. Legiflare doesn't include consent management.

When Legiflare fits better

  • You want to avoid a subscription. Legiflare has no paid plans; templates, editing and hosting are free.
  • You write in more than one language. Write each version in the editor, or generate a first draft in the language you choose.
  • You're publishing an app. You get a plain public URL to paste into App Store Connect and the Google Play Console.
  • You want full control over the text. Edit any section instead of combining predefined clauses.

How to move a policy from iubenda to Legiflare

  1. Open your current policy and copy the text, including the list of third-party services.
  2. Create a document in Legiflare and paste it in, or start from the template.
  3. Review it, publish it, and replace the old links and widgets on your site and in your app.
  4. If you relied on iubenda for cookie consent, set up another consent tool before you cancel.

Frequently asked questions

Can Legiflare replace iubenda's cookie solution?

No. Legiflare hosts your cookie policy, but it doesn't show a consent banner or store consent records. Use a consent tool for that.

Can I publish policies in several languages?

Yes. Create one document per language, each with its own link, and link the right version from each storefront or site.

Is there a limit on documents or page views?

No. There is no limit on the number of documents, and hosted pages aren't capped by page views.
