This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use RIFT. The current version is designed for offline play and local storage; it does not require you to create an online account.
1. Information We Process
RIFT does not collect or upload your personal information or game data to developer servers via the app, nor does it require your real name, phone number, email address, or password. You can use "Guest Mode" directly or set a nickname that is stored only locally.
To provide game functionality, the app saves the following information on your device:
- Local nickname and profile settings;
- Level progress, star ratings, scores, and combo records;
- Event completion status and reward claim status;
- Item inventory, claim counts, and cosmetic selections;
- Usage preferences, such as haptic feedback settings.
Daily challenges are generated based on the date on your device; the app does not access your geographic location.
2. Use of Information
The local information mentioned above is used to restore game progress, unlock levels, record challenge results, manage items and rewards, and save your preferences. It is not used for advertising or user profiling.
3. Local Storage and System Backups
Game data is stored within the app's storage space on your device. RIFT does not currently offer developer-managed cloud saves or cross-device synchronization services.
If you have enabled system backups or device migration, your app data may be backed up, restored, or transferred by the operating system or your chosen backup service. These functions are governed by the privacy policies of the respective service providers and your system settings.
4. Third-Party Services and Information Sharing
The current version does not integrate third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party login services. It does not engage in cross-app tracking, nor does it sell or provide your local game data to third parties.
In-app help and privacy information are displayed via embedded content and do not require a connection to external websites.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you actively reset or delete it.
You can select "Reset Local Progress" on the profile page to revert your profile and game progress to their initial state. You can also delete the app via your system settings to remove its local data. System operations that merely uninstall the app while retaining documents and data may not delete save files.
Copies already existing in system backups must be managed through the respective system or backup service; resetting game progress does not automatically delete these backups.
6. Information provided when you contact us
If you contact us via email, we receive the email address, message content, and attachments you voluntarily provide. This information is used solely for handling inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and necessary follow-up communication, and is retained only for the duration required to address the relevant matters, unless otherwise required by law.
Please do not include sensitive personal information unrelated to the issue in your feedback.
7. Information Security
RIFT utilizes the app storage protection mechanisms provided by iOS to store local data. Please manage device access permissions and system backups carefully. No storage method guarantees absolute security; device damage, app deletion, or system resets may result in the loss of progress.
8. Children's Privacy
The current version of the app does not collect personal information from any users, including children. If you believe a child has provided information that should not be retained when contacting support, please contact us via the email address listed above to address the matter.
9. Policy Updates
We will update this Privacy Policy and its effective date whenever there are changes to app functionality or information processing practices. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you through appropriate channels and obtain necessary authorizations where applicable.
