Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the Thygeson app ("Thygeson", "we", "our", or "the app") handles your information.

1. Data Collection

Thygeson does not collect, transmit, or store any personal or usage data on our servers. All data you create or use within the app resides locally on your device only.

We do not operate backend servers for data storage, analytics, tracking, or user profiling. Nothing is exported to any server at any time.

2. Local Storage Only

All app data is stored locally on your device. This means:

  • Your data remains under your control at all times

  • We cannot see, access, or recover your data

  • If you delete the app, all associated data will be permanently removed

Please be careful when deleting the app, as this action cannot be undone.

3. Cloud Backup and Sync (Optional)

Thygeson supports optional cloud backup and sync using your platform’s built-in cloud services:

  • Apple iCloud on iOS

  • Google Drive / Android Backup on Android

Cloud backup and sync are:

  • Disabled by default

  • Opt-in only, enabled manually through your device or app settings

If enabled, your data is backed up to your personal cloud account managed by Apple or Google. We do not have access to these backups.

Cloud sync may be useful if you use Thygeson on multiple devices, but it is entirely optional.

4. Notifications

Thygeson may schedule notifications to remind you of events or actions within the app.

  • All notifications are local notifications

  • No server-side notifications are used

  • No notification data is sent off your device

5. Data Export and Deletion

You are always in control of your data:

  • You may export your data at any time using the app’s export functionality

  • You may wipe all app data at any time from within the app

These actions occur entirely on your device.

6. Third Parties

Thygeson does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or external data processors.

Any cloud backup functionality is handled solely by your operating system provider (Apple or Google) and governed by their respective privacy policies.

7. Children’s Privacy

Thygeson does not knowingly collect any personal information from children, as no data is collected or transmitted at all.

8. Changes to This Policy
