This Privacy Policy explains how Orbit Dice handles information generated while you use the app.
1. Information Stored Locally
To support features such as accounts, game progress, and preferences, the app stores the following information on your current device:
- Local account username and password verification data;
- Your set nickname;
- Level completion records, experience points, and event participation history;
- Game action sequences, resume progress, and personal best move counts;
- Preference settings, such as haptic feedback.
Passwords are stored as salted hashes; plain-text passwords are not stored.
2. Use of Information
The information mentioned above is used solely for local login verification, restoring game progress, displaying achievements, replaying level solutions, and saving your settings.
Guest mode does not require account registration but still saves game progress on the device.
3. Data Transmission and Third-Party Services
In the current version, level, event, and hint features are available offline. The app does not proactively upload the aforementioned information to the developer's servers and does not offer cloud synchronization.
The current version does not integrate advertisements, third-party analytics, or third-party login services, nor does it share or sell your information through such services.
4. Device Permissions
The current version does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos.
5. Data Storage and Deletion
Game data is stored within the app's local storage space on your device until you reset the data or delete the app.
You can modify your nickname, adjust haptic settings, or reset the current user's game progress in the Personal Center. Resetting progress clears records for levels, experience, events, and solutions but does not delete the registered local account.
Logging out does not clear the account or its local progress. To remove all local accounts and game data saved by the app, delete the app using system functions; simply "Uninstalling" the app while retaining documents and data may not clear these records.
Device or cloud backups are managed by the operating system and its service providers; they may retain app data separately, depending on your backup settings.
6. Local Account Limitations
Local accounts are restricted to the current device; cross-device synchronization and online password recovery are not supported. If you switch devices, delete the app, or lose local data, your account and game progress may become unrecoverable.
7. Data Security
The app utilizes the system's application storage isolation mechanism to save data and stores password verification information using salted hash digests. Please keep your device and unlock credentials secure. No storage method can guarantee absolute security.
8. Privacy of Minors
The app does not proactively collect age information. Minors should use the app under the guidance of a guardian and avoid including personal information—such as real names or contact details—in usernames or nicknames.
9. Agreement Updates
If the app's data processing practices change, we will update this agreement and the effective date; in the event of significant changes, we will notify users through appropriate channels.
