Welcome to ChargeNear! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ChargeNear mobile application (the “App”), which allows you to locate nearby Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
ChargeNear provides a service that uses your location to display a list of nearby EV chargers. The charger information is sourced from the NREL Alternative Fuels Data Center database.
To provide you with the best experience, ChargeNear requires access to your device's location services. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your location data for the sole purpose of finding nearby EV chargers. You can disable location services at any time through your device settings, but this may limit the functionality of the App.
The EV charger information provided by ChargeNear is derived from the NREL Alternative Fuels Data Center database. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, ChargeNear does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the data. Charger availability, status, and specifications are subject to change without notice. Users should verify charger information directly with the charging station provider if critical.
All content and software associated with the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, are the property of ChargeNear or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or any other computer systems or networks connected to the App.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CHARGENEAR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CHARGENEAR, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will post the amended Terms within the App and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
